PERMIT & VENUE COORDINATION

We can help navigate the local paperwork.

Some venues, municipalities, and event formats require additional alcohol-service approvals or a local one-day special permit. When that applies, we can help coordinate the administrative side so it does not become another project for the host.

Permit & Licensing Coordination

from $250 + government fees
  • Local requirement research
  • Application and supporting-document coordination
  • Service-plan and bartender-training information
  • Coordination with the client, venue, and local authority

Availability, eligibility, deadlines, and approval are controlled by the applicable municipality or licensing authority. Beacon Bar Co. provides administrative coordination and does not issue or guarantee licenses.

FAQ

Common questions about service, planning, and event setup.

What does client-provided alcohol or “dry hire” mean?

It means you purchase and own the alcohol, while Beacon Bar Co. provides the bartenders and the bar services included in your package. We can provide a detailed shopping list based on guest count, event length, and planned menu, and any unused alcohol remains yours.

Can you make custom cocktails?

Yes. We can work with classic cocktails, signature drinks, mocktails, and custom menu ideas. More complex or high-volume menus may require extra preparation or staffing.

How many bartenders do I need?

It depends on guest count and menu complexity. As a general starting point, we recommend 1 bartender for up to about 40 guests, 2 for 41–80, and additional staffing for larger events.

Can you provide the physical bar?

Yes. We can work from an existing home or venue bar, or provide a portable event-bar setup. We will recommend the right setup based on the venue, guest count, menu, and service plan.

Are your bartenders alcohol-service certified?

Yes. Our bartenders are TIPS certified and follow responsible alcohol-service practices.

Will you serve someone who is visibly intoxicated?

No. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service when necessary for responsible service and safety. We do not serve anyone under 21.

Can you help with local alcohol permits or one-day licenses?

Yes. When a venue or local licensing authority requires a one-day alcohol permit or special license, Beacon Bar Co. can provide administrative coordination for an additional fee. We can help identify the local requirements, organize supporting event information, and coordinate the application process with the client. Government fees are separate, and eligibility and approval are determined by the applicable licensing authority. If a one-day special license applies, alcohol purchasing rules may also differ from a typical private event.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, Saturdays, and popular event dates, earlier is better. If your event is coming up soon, reach out anyway; availability depends on the date, location, staffing, and service plan.
